PVC Mouldings,
answered.
Common questions about American Pro cellular PVC trim, custom profiles, and samples.
What architectural mouldings does American Pro make?
American Pro extrudes a full catalog of cellular PVC trim: crowns in five sizes, casings, sills, brick mould, base cap, water table, balluster, and other standard architectural profiles. Custom profiles can also be tooled in-house at Patwin Plastics.
Will PVC mouldings rot or split outdoors?
No. Cellular PVC trim does not rot, split, or absorb moisture, which makes it the right choice for exterior trim around doors, windows, soffits, and water tables.
Can American Pro tool a custom profile?
Yes. Patwin Plastics has a full in-house tool room with wire EDM, sinker EDM, and polymer flow simulation. Custom profiles can be designed, tooled, and extruded under one roof in Linden, NJ.
How do I see what a moulding profile actually looks like?
Free hand samples of any standard profile can be requested through the contact form. We mail short cut sections so the actual profile and finish can be evaluated in person.
